That is something that I always respect while developing and it can be quite difficult but even the oldest maps from day one can still be loaded and work.ģ) Someone gotta implement the modding API and stuff. Then a lot of old maps (which) depend on the mod wouldnt work anymore. ![]() For instance if I restrict modding support to only be content, everyone who wants to play a map would have to download the mods first, which can be annoying.Ģ) ^ can especially be annoying if the game changes a lot and older mods dont work anymore. I'm not anti mod in general but I talked about this sooooooo many times when people without any experience say "just add modding support for a lot of content".ġ) This game depends a lot on the workshop which means sharing maps is difficult if people use modded versions with different functionalities or objects.
